The Facilities Management Department, located at 636 Fernleaf in Sebring, is dedicated to providing a functional, healthy, and comfortable environment for citizens and employees in all governmental facilities.  We are in charge of all maintenance issues for the county buildings, including Indoor Air Quality, Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Electrical, Plumbing, Alarms, Furniture, and Workspace issues.  We also provide all custodial services for the county facilities as well.

Our staff is comprised of 20 members and we take care of the maintenance needs for 46 county building locations, including the courthouse and government center complex, the county libraries, the health departments, the Agri-Civic Center, and the tag offices.  We are quite busy and our objective is to handle each work order or issue as quickly and efficiently as possible.   Our staff is also called upon to help during disaster planning and implementation at the shelter locations and emergency centers as well as performance of our regular duties at each site.  We are dedicated public servants and proud to serve the citizens of Highlands County.
