Commissioner Carlson Jeff Carlson is a fourth-generation Floridian who grew up and went to school in Sebring.  He is a 1988 Graduate of Sebring High School and holds Bachelor's degrees in Accounting and Finance and a Masters of Business Administration.

He is a CPA and owner of Carlson Accounting which opened in 1986.  Prior to joining the firm in 1996, Jeff spent ten years in the financial services industry. He was a mortgage syndication specialist at Salomon Brothers and served in several positions at Chase Manhattan Bank including Total Quality systems manager and strategic planning analyst.

He is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Sebring, member of First United Methodist Church of Sebring, board member of the Sebring Hall of Fame, Chairman of the Central Florida Regional Planning Council and served three terms as an elected Councilman on the Sebring City Council.  Jeff is currently serving his first term as an elected member of the Highlands County Commission.
